Paradise is Now

With the immense amount of pain and beauty we are capable of experiencing in our lives, we can either see this world as a heaven or a hell. But when we reconnect with its natural splendor to which we have become accustomed and we realize that our pain has a purpose, the truth that paradise is now unfolds before us. In addition to the abundant nature of the universe there is also an undercurrent of forward motion beneath it all, evolving the genes of all living things, ripening the fruit on the trees, and softening the callous grown over our hearts. When we align ourselves with this current, when we recognize the miracle of all existence, and we see ourselves as an evolving part of the garden of Eden in this way, we see that life is rich with beauty and meaning, there is power to our pain, and that paradise is not only here and now, but continuing to grow.
