The blades are stitched with a CNC machine which produces a uniform tooth pattern and height allowing for a steady removal rate and an even finish. This is considered a coarse cut rasp with 10 teeth per square centimeter. The handle is 5 3/4 inch long, 1 1/2 inches in diameter and has a brass ferrule. Handle is made hard and dense Hornbeam. Blade is 30 mm (1 1/4 inch) by 9 mm (5/16 inch) and 300 mm (12") long. Overall length is 445 mm (18 inches). This is a well-made rasp for a very reasonable price.
